About the artist:
Jane rediscovered her passion for art in 2003. Her love of North Dakota and the wildlife she sees is a theme repeated in many of her paintings. Her art reflects her soul, whether through the simple pose of a beloved dog or through the movement of music and scripture she has combined in a mixed media painting. She and her daughter (Sarah) work together to create ivory bookmarks and necklaces (using vintage ivory piano keys). She is the co-founder and volunteer instructor of the Kenmare Summer Arts Institute, teaches art in the schools through NDCA, and works with the USFW Junior Duck Stamp Program.
