Java Jive JazzFormed from a devoted core of Minot musicians "JAVA JIVE JAZZ" has been working steadily since its inception in 2005. 10 N Main, a resaturant across from the old train station is where the group can be heard from 7:30 to 10:30 pm usually on the 1st Friday and Saturday of each month. THE INSPIRATION: A combination of the pop music of the fourties, fifties and sixties (Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, etc.). Mouse River Players Community TheatreAfter 32 years we finally have a new home-actually 2 new homes, our brick-and-mortar home and, of course, our new website! Our volunteer base is growing again too, and our new season has already expanded beyond our expectations and the capabilities of past years. Arts in the ParksFrom mid-June through early August, this program offers something for all ages and interests in a relaxed outdoor setting. On Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons and evenings, Minot’s two beautiful parks (Oak and Roosevelt) host musical and visual arts presentations. Added to the regular AIP season are select Tuesday concerts scheduled to take place in the Nordic Pavillion of the Arts located in the Scandinavian Heritage Park.
