To continue with the "Myths and Legends" of music, the MSO is happy to bring to the stage violinist Anna Karkowska to perform 'Violin Concerto No. 1', a work by violin legend and virtuoso, Nicolo Paganini. The 'Swan of Tuonela from the Lemminkainen Suite' by Jean Sibelius tells a story of a magical swan and its hunter which has been taken from Finnish mythology., The evening closes with the famous and elegant 'Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky.
