    Sunday, July 31, soprano Joann Martinson returns to the Sibyl Center accompanied by award winning Minot State faculty musicians Erik and Dianna Anderson on cello and piano.

     

    Originally from North Dakota, Joann received her B.A. in Music Performance from Minot State University and is currently a graduate student at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. A top opera award winner in the annual ND and NC NATS Competition, she has appeared with the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra, soloed with the UNCG Orchestra and voted Audience Favorite in the 2011 Orpheus Competition. Joann recently returned from a one month trip to Graz, Austria where she studied with the Lied Austria International program.

     

    This classical performance begins at 3pm at 301 1st St. SW in Stanley. Admission is by free-will donation at the door.
