    A one-woman exhibition of fine art opens at the Carnegie Center, Minot, North Dakota on October 15th and runs through October 16th, 2010. This exhibition will feature recent works, including paintings with an integrated video.

    Born in Des Moines, IA, 1976, painter and mixed media artist, Hjelmstad's paintings are of her young son, musicians playing melodies together, and hockey players with a passion for the game will be on display.
