Minot Symphony Orchestra Pops Concert
April 24, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Their Pops Concert is sure to end the season on a high note. The 'Crown Imperial', a march by William Walto opens the evening, followed by the story of 'Peer Gynt' through the music of Edvard Grieg. 'Rule Brittania' will help us celebrate the 300th birthday of great composer Thomas Arne. A thrilling addition to the music of the evening is 'Batman', 'Robin Hood', and 'Duncan's Themes'. What other way to end such a fantastic season of "Myths and Legends" other than the famous 'Stars and Stripes Forever' by legendary American composer John Phillips Sousa.
